About the Institution
PRANA INSTITUTE of ALLIED MEDICAL SCIENCES is a venture started by a team of very experienced and well known Educationalists and Medical Practitioners who have shown commitment to the noble cause of medical education. The back bone of the health care is the nursing and paramedical personnel. Their standards will determine the quality of care provided to the patients. With this in mind our institute was started in 2019 to bring high standards to nursing and paramedical education.
A look into the main stream of educational institutions across India has shown an imbalance with all leading institutions in the urban background. The cost of transport and accommodation apart from the fees makes this quality education unaffordable to many of the rural students who aspire for suchcourses. Also starting a health care education institute in rural area will also bring quality medical care to the rural public who are now devoid of standardized health care at par with the cities. With this background of educational scenario, our philanthropic team already dedicated to setting an unique standards of health care education decided to start the institute in the beautiful village of Eraivankadu to benefit the rural public.
Situated in lush greenery with a pleasant scenic background our institute prides itself of an excellent building with an infrastructure on par with the best educational institutions in the city. Well equipped library and labs, digitally enabled smart classrooms, spacious auditorium and space for extracurricular activities makes our institute stand apart from the other nursing and paramedical institutes in nearby areas.
The mission, the vision, the infrastructure and the facilities are our commitments to the future generation to bring out their best of abilities both in curricular and extracurricular area and to make them productive and responsible citizens of tomorrow who will be sought after by leading hospitals in the industry. Location
The institute is located in Eraivankadu, a beautiful village amidst scenic surroundings which is about 13 minutes drive and 15 KM from the vellore city green circle. The institute is opposite to Annai Polytechnic College and Spring days CBSE School located near the Chennai-Bangalore highway, which by itself creates an educational hub in this area. The campus encloses a constructed area which has all the laboratories and library facilities for the student along with facilities for sports. Accessibility to the highway makes transportation affordable and easy. This also brings a secured environment to our students especially the girls. We have ensured this at all stages of designing the infrastructure. The area also gives a scope for expansion in the near future for the addition of further courses including post graduation.

The Sports facilities for indoor and outdoor sports are provided within the campus.
Library
College has a library with large volume of books, journals, e-journals and internet facilities.
Classrooms
Separate spacious classrooms which are smart classroom ready are available for each course.
College hours
College will be functioning regularly from Monday to Saturday between 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Clinical posting timings may vary.

We offer the most comfortable and convenient transport facility for, Students. The buses ply to and from the prominent parts of the vellore city
